Romi’s Bakeshop

━━━━ Our Roots

The Story

Romi’s wasn’t built on a business plan. It was built on memory.

Growing up in Argentina, café culture wasn’t about transaction – it was about ritual. Time. Connection over coffee. A medialuna that actually meant something. That’s what I wanted to create in Williston Park. A place that blends Argentine warmth and hospitality with New York convenience. Somewhere you can sit for an hour or grab something extraordinary on the way out.

Our menu reflects that obsession with authenticity. The medialuna is our anchor – the pastry that started everything. Around it, we’ve built a curated selection of naturally leavened breads, hand-crafted Argentine pastries, and custom cakes. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is rushed. Every item exists to turn an ordinary moment into something you actually remember.

That’s the whole point.

Some days you’ll sit with us for five minutes of quiet before the day takes over. Some days you’ll take pastries home because your family deserves something real. Some days you’ll order a custom cake for a moment that matters. Whatever brings you through our door, we’re here to make it taste like it actually means something.

One bite at a time.
